Md Arafat Hossain is pursuing his PhD research in the School of Chemical Engineering and Advanced Materials of The University of Adelaide from 14 August, 2017. He has the responsibility of conducting cutting edge research in the field of Energy and Mining technology which mainly focuses on the innovation of the future sustainable and bio-energy. Before starting His PhD, he achieved his Masters of Engineering Science (by dissertation) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Malaya, Malaysia. He has also worked on different projects as a responsibility of research assistantship. The projects were based on new innovation and improvement of renewable and sustainable energy. He received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET) in 2012 which is one of the top-ranked universities in Bangladesh.
