Marian Mihailescu graduated in 2005 from "Politehnica" University of Bucharest, Romania, with a Bachelor in Computer Science, major in Computer Systems. After an internship at National University of Singapore, he enrolled for the graduate programme, which he finished with a PhD in Computer Science in 2012.From 2010 to 2012, he worked as a Teaching Assistant in School of Computing, National University of Singapore, and later as a Teaching Lecturer (part-time) in School of Computer Science, University of Adelaide. Marian joined TRC in July 2012 as a Research Fellow. His research interests include software defined networks, federated systems, cloud computing, networking, peer-to-peer services and applications, and embedded systems.
