College of Science

I am a senior lecturer in Mathematical Sciences and the Program Director for the Bachelor of Data Analytics (XBDA) offered through UniSA Online. I joined UniSA after completing a PhD in Finance in Canada. My research interests include mathematical finance, risk management, environmental modelling, as well as data analytics and challenges posed by Big Data.
I am a high-quality teacher who is particularly interested in developing students’ statistical thinking and providing them with the skills needed to derive insights from data, including Big Data. I am also interested in online education and learning analytics.
Member of C3L - Centre for Change and Complexity of Learning - researching human and artificial cognition and knowledge processes.
UniSA STEM sponsor in HERN - Higher Education Research Network
