My academic and research trajectory has been shaped by a sustained commitment to advancing scientific understanding of metabolic and endocrine disorders. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition Science and a Master’s degree in Nutrition in Health Sciences, where I cultivated a strong foundation in clinical nutrition, metabolic physiology, and research methodology. I am currently undertaking my PhD under the supervision of Dr. Alexia Peña Vargas and Dr. Jodie Avery, focusing polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). My research interests center on PCOS and diabetes, with particular emphasis on identifying nutritional, behavioral, and biological determinants that contribute to disease development and long-term health outcomes. Through my doctoral research, I aim to generate evidence that informs more effective, equitable, and patient-centered approaches to the management of PCOS
