My current research is focused on understanding hydroclimate variability and multi-decadal drought risk in southern and south-eastern Australia over the last 2000 years using oxygen isotopes and lake sediments. I am also involved with collaborative research on hydrogeology conducting in different coastal areas of Bangladesh and chemical analysis of surface water & sediments to evaluate the metal pollution in and around of the Meghna River estuary, Bangladesh.
