I am a Masters by Research Candidate in the School of Social Science at Adelaide University. My current research is investigating the rising popularity of the Far-Right among Australian women, highlighting the role they form within these spaces in both online and offline landscapes. My research aims to explore the intersecting characteristics that influence women into participating within these groups, and the potential pathways into radicalisation and extremism that can accompany supporting far-right rhetoric.
In addition to my current research, my main areas of interest revolve around Counter-Terrorism and Extremism, particulary in the way these topics impact vulnerable groups. My interests also spread to cybercrime (particuarly regarding exploitation materials), gender studies, and Law, looking at the way Criminology can intersect with the legal system. I am also interested in Australian politics and the growing influence international settings extend over the Australian government and public.
I have obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Criminology and majored in politics. I am seeking higher education pathways to strengthen my skills and broaden my researching opportunities.
