Lucy Farrar

Lucy is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist and Associate Lecturer within the School of Allied Health Science and Practice. Lucy's work as a speech pathologist has included positions within the Victorian and South Australian Department for Education, with a focus on improving the language and literacy outcomes for students. Her clinical work emphasises collaboration with schools and utilisation of the Response to Intervention framework to inform assessments and interventions that are embedded within school environments. Lucy completed her Master of Speech Pathology in 2016 and is currently undertaking her PhD in the area of adolescents diagnosed with language disorders. Lucy teaches into first, second and third year Speech Pathology courses, as well as the combined Allied Health program.
