I support the research needs of the Adelaide University community as part of the Library's Researcher Support team.
In the last few years my focus has been on comprehensive searching for systematic, scoping and other reviews, however I also support researchers with:
- strategic publishing, including open access
- metrics for funding, promotion, and other purposes (e.g. InCites, SciVal)
- author profiles
- data management planning
- copyright considerations as an author
For more on the activities of my team see Researcher support (https://au.libguides.com/researchersupport/).
I have worked in Adelaide universities for several years and in that time supported both teaching and learning and research across a wide range of disciplines including allied health, pharmacy, social work, psychology, education, nursing, and many more.
I am available for individual appointments for research support - book an appointment with Lorien (https://au.libcal.com/appointments/LorienDelaney).
My team is also available to deliver tailored presentations and workshops for research groups. Please get in touch with the Library if you would like to arrange this.
Lorien has a keen interest in information professional best practice and presented at the Quality in Postgraduate Research (QPR) 2024 Conference on 'Best practice endeavours: information professionals and research degree education at the University of South Australia'.
