Faculty of Arts
I am a PhD student in Creative Writing within the School of Humanities, supervised by Professor Brian Castro and Professor Amanda Nettelbeck.
My research investigates the themes of violence and haunting in Australian road stories in comparison to the American road story tradition. I am exploring myths of homeland and expulsion in Australian road stories, particularly in relation to frontier mythology. My other interests include women’s road stories, landscape and travel writing, and Australian New Wave film.
