Holding a personal interest in social justice and inclusion for people living with disability, led to an opportunity to be part of a research team with Kobie Boshoff, Deanna Gibbs, Rebecca Phillips, and Louise Wiles since 2015, undertaking research that has resulted in five articles being published.
2019 and 2021 Invited Speaker together with Dr Kobie Boshoff presenting research findings at the University of Adelaide Healthy Development Adelaide Research and Development in Autism Forum: A SA Perspective.
2017 Invited Speaker at the Perth 27th National Occupational Therapy Conference & Exhibition - NDIS and the Family Unit

2016 - 2023 University of South Australia - Occupational Therapy program - teaching Individual & Society, Primary health Care Approaches and supervising Participatory Community Practice projects in both undergraduate and post graduate programs.
2017 - 2018 University of South Australia - developed and facilitated a student-led placement service in collaboration with Department for Education and Modbury Special School, supervising fourth year undergraduate Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy students. The placement focused on working with young people with disabilities, their families, and the NDIS, in assisting their transition from the school setting to post school life.
2020-2021 University of South Australia in Port Lincoln working as an academic with the Department of Rural Health. Focused on increasing allied health student placements and supporting allied health workforce through the delivery of training opportunities and professional development.
