I love that I have arrived here at UniSA ready to share my lived experience of teaching in schools across the state, country and internationally over the last 25 years. Since joining UniSA as a Lecturer and Teaching Academic in Education Futures I teach and coordinate courses within the post graduate Master of Teaching course in Health and Physical Education and in the under graduate courses in Health and Physical Education and Creating Positive Learning Environments.
I completed my Master of Education in 2021 to complement my work at UniSA and in addition to my teaching role I have joined the Academic Integrity team and will begin this role as of SP5 2023.
I graduated from Flinders University with a Bachelor Degree in Primary/ Middle School and found most of my teaching sat within the upper primary area (Years 5 - 10) in the classroom and teaching in my area of passion across Foundation - Year 9 in Physical Education.
In addition to my role in Education Futures, I am passionate about supporting students lived and embodied experience of physical activity through a pedagogy of joy.
