Lisa is a PhD candidate in the Department of Media. Her research explores the intersections of screen media and gender, as well as the dynamics of postfeminism and neoliberalism, and audience reception. Currently, her work aims to illuminate the intrinsic messages surrounding gender in contemporary media texts, specifically how audiences respond to this messaging.
