I am a PhD researcher in marine ecology at Adelaide University, passionate about exploring how marine life responds to environmental change. As a scientific diver, I particularly enjoy fieldwork and discovering the interactions that shape marine ecosystems.
My research focuses on marine biodiversity, species interactions, habitat connectivity, and ecosystem resilience in a changing ocean. Currently, I am investigating the potential of natural habitats to act as climate refugia for coral reef fishes, combining hands-on field research with laboratory and quantitative approaches.
My research focuses on marine ecology, particularly the responses of marine organisms and ecosystems to environmental change. I am interested in how climate-related stressors influence biodiversity, species interactions, physiological condition and ecosystem functioning, and how natural habitats may support resilience to these changes.
My research combines field-based ecological investigations, biological sampling, laboratory analyses and quantitative approaches across different marine environments. My current PhD research focuses on coral reef fish communities, physiological responses to environmental stress and the potential role of coastal habitats as climate refugia, with broader interests in habitat connectivity, marine biodiversity and ecosystem resilience.
