Laurent Turner is a PhD candidate at Adelaide University in the Obesity and Metabolism group led by Professor Leonie Heilbronn. His primary research interests are at the intersection of nutrition, immunology and metabolism. His work investigates how structured dietary interventions, such as calorie restriction and time-restricted eating, can reshape the circadian regulation of glucose metabolism and immune function to improve health in adults at risk of type 2 diabetes.
