I'm a PhD Candidate working on modelling and analysis of complex adaptive systems, under the supervision of Dr. Claudia Szabo and Prof. Katrina Falkner. Social networks, smart cities, health-care networks are all prime examples of complex adaptive systems, with many interaction autonomous entities, sub-systems, and emergent properties. I created a modelling language, CASL, and modelling, simulation, and analysis framework, CASTLE, designed for creating models of such domains with the aim of performing simulations to gain deeper understanding of how these systems, and the myriad properties they are comprised of, operate. In addition to my research, I am currently a contract lecturer, and am co-lecturer for Introduction to Programming with Dr. Brad Alexander.
