My research focus on fabrication of lightweight and non-lead 2D composite materials for the high-performance radiation shielding application. During her PhD, she had 9 papers as first author, 5 papers as co-author and 1 national patent. After her PhD, she joined as a postdoctoral position in ARC graphene hub in School of CEAM. Her research interests include 2D nanomaterials, polymers, and nanocomposites for radiation shielding applications. In late of 2022-2023, she joined as a postdoctoral researcher for HILT-CRC Project, and her research interests on assessing carbon utilization, and recycling opportunities for the Australian heavy industry sectors from a regional hub perspective. Later, she has joined as senior postdoctoral researcher in the field of renewable (sustainable) energy using low-carbon plasma technology to produce ammonia as energy carrier and fertiliser. Currently, she has moved onto the new project ‘Plant for Space’ within the same group.
