Kyriaco Nikias is a young scholar and writer interested in the relations of language and power in history, and the history of state power in the ancient Mediterranean.

Kyriaco has published on ancient Greek history and law, the relationship between language and society, modern Greek studies and historiography, and on contemporary legal and social issues. He also writes for non-academic publications on these themes, and others.
