His research interests include international business and management, migrant entrepreneurship, Chinese business culture (particularly guanxi), as well as institutional and marketing theories. With over a decade of experience living, working, and studying in China, he draws on this distinctive background in both academic research and consulting practice. Notable experiences include studying at Tsinghua University, working as a marketing manager for a major OEM manufacturer, and founding a small business each providing valuable challenges and lasting insights that continue to shape his professional perspective.

He is deeply passionate about all facets of academia, including research, teaching, and the ongoing development of his skills. In teaching and curriculum design, he aims to inspire the same enthusiasm for the subject matter that fuels his own engagement, fostering a more effective and enjoyable learning environment for students. In his research, he is driven by a desire to uncover the core of complex phenomena, often employing bibliometric and qualitative methods to develop a rich, culturally grounded understanding of human behaviour and institutional dynamics.
