Krystle commenced her career in Nursing in 2006 as a Registered Nurse at Ashford Hospital in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) following her graduation from Flinders University. Her passion for Intensive Care Nursing lead her to complete a Masters in Critical Care Nursing, becoming a leader in the ICU; providing strong clinical skills, leadership, support, education, mentorship and review of staff and student members. Krystle had an ongoing interest to teach others and gained roles in education at the University of South Australia as a Clinical Facilitator and then to Flinders University as both Clinical Facilitator and Tutor before commencing continuing roles at Flinders University and now as a Lecturer in Nursing at Adelaide University. Krystle continues to build her research profile through recent achievement of a First-Class Honours in Health Sciences and aims to continue her research as a PHD Candidate.
Krystle values her strong links with her colleagues, students, clinical partners and clinical facilitators. Newly coordinating the Graduate Diploma in Nursing Science (Intensive Care Nursing) bringing her previous experiences along with special presenters together with the analysis of current critical care research and knowledge to ensure Graduates are confident and successful in their unit.
