Krystal is a PhD candidate training in social epidimiology at Adelaide University. Krystal's research sits under the iCAN project (Impacts of Child Abuse and Neglect); a population level, linked administrative record dataset to investigate the developmental, health and social consequences of child maltreatment in South Australia. With a background in child and youth support work, Krystal graduated with first class honours in Psychology from UniSA in 2023. The same team now supervises her PhD; Prof Leonie Segal (primary), Dr Emmanuel Gnanamanickam and Dr Miriam Maclean.
