I am a PhD candidate within the BetterStart Child Health and Development Research Group. My project is focused on understanding the intersection of parental substance abuse and child protection contact, and exploring the service system response in South Australia.
My research interests are focused on improving outcomes for children and young people using multidisciplinary approaches from public health and psychology. I have a particular interest in child maltreatment, substance abuse, trauma, and early life adversities and how they shape the development and trajectories of young people.
