Keri is the Senior Research Fellow on 'Living Lightly Locally for Regenerative Regions' and the Course Coordinator for 'Sustainable Engineering Practice' (with An De College in China) and 'Climate Change Adaptation' at the University of South Australia (UniSA). Before re-joining UniSA she founded Dream Awake: Research Education and Design (DARED), a regenerative research and education consultancy dedicated to inspiring people to create change for a better world. DARED was established in 2018, after Keri completed her work as Head of Program for the first full degree Permaculture Program at CQUniversity from 2015-2018. Prior to this she lectured in Social and Community Planning and coordinated Sustainable Development: A Global Perspective at UniSA. She holds a doctorate in Anthropology/Social Inquiry from the University of Adelaide (2008).
Keri has a background in cultural anthropology and social science and a passion for research in alternative/regenerative futures, social movement studies, counter-development theory, and activating change for a better world.
