I am currently an Associate Professor/Reader at Adelaide Business School. Prior to my move to Adelaide, I was affiliated with UNSW Sydney from 2015 onward. My teaching expertise focuses on financial accounting and data analytics. Additionally, I hold memberships with the Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants (CICPA) and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). My research interests include capital market regulation, stock price discovery surrounding earning announcements, credit default swaps, dividends and other topics in the empirical accounting and finance. I obtained my PhD in Accounting from The University of Melbourne in 2015.
