I am currently an Associate Professor/Reader at Adelaide Business School. Prior to my move to Adelaide, I had been working for UNSW Sydney since 2015 as a Lecturer (2015-2020) and Senior Lecturer (2020-2024). My teaching expertise focuses on financial accounting, business data analytics and consolidation accounting. Additionally, I hold memberships with the Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants (CICPA) and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). My research interests include securities regulation, stock price discovery surrounding earning announcements, credit default swaps, dividends and other topics in the empirical accounting and finance. I obtained my PhD in Accounting from The University of Melbourne in 2015.
