Mrs Judith Bailey
I am currently Learning and Teaching Project Manager for the University Library. I am working on developing a Digital Capabilities Framework for the University. This project is a joint initiative with the DVC (Student Learning) and University Libraries to embed digital capabilities in the curriculum.
I have had various positions in supporting student learning in academic libraries in Australia and the UK, where I lived from 1997 to 2012. I was the subject librarian for Education, History and Religious Studies at the University of Gloucestershire from 2000-2009.
I am currently writing up my PhD dissertation on the Palmers' guild, a religious guild which was based in Ludlow in the Welsh Marches. I have spent the last 4 years studying the late medieval religious landscape of Shropshire, Herefordshire and Powys which has involved using archival manuscripts which form the backbone of my thesis. This research built on my MA where I compared the Palmers' guild and the Holy Cross guild in Stratford-upon-Avon.
My primary supervisor is Dr Gareth Pritchard from the Department of History at the University of Adelaide.
