I'm currently an accredited general surgical registrar in the Eastern NSW training network. My Master of Philosophy (Surgery) thesis examines risk assessment in emergency laparotomy. This consists of a systematic review, an interview based study of general surgeons and trainees and an audit of risk assessment in South Australian hospital. I'm also a Clinical Lecturer with the University and am engaged regularly with teaching medical students.
