I am a postgraduate researcher undertaking a Masters of Research at Adelaide University. My main work is studying how influence relationships develop and affect social structures, utilising information theory coupled with statistical and computational techniques. Particularly, I am interested in comparing these systems to echo chambers, understanding how they may form organically from agent-specific behaviour. Relating this research to known empirical social network structures yields important results around habits of online activity. Further, I have broader interests in network science, opinion dynamics, and stochastic processes.
