Adelaide University Online and Learning Futures
Academic
I am an Online Course Facilitator (OCF) in Health at Adelaide University Online. As an OCF, I'm responsible for leading the development and delivery of teaching for AU Online students. I have a broad range of teaching interests across the fields of public health and psychology. I am particularly interested in:
- 'Determinants of Health' perspectives on understanding inequalities and inequities in health across population groups
- The role of evaluation in public health programs and policy
- Statistical literacy and fundamentals of data analysis
In addition to teaching, I am a researcher and PhD candidate in the School of Psychology. Broadly speaking, my research is focussed on how people perceive and respond to power - how those perceptions and experiences of power shape our thoughts, feelings, and behaviours (especially in social and political spheres).
Broadly speaking, I am interested in the psychology of power and justice. My research aims to explore how our perceptions of power and justice affect our attitudes and behaviours in personal, social, and political spheres. I also have an interest in psychometrics and the development and validation of robust psychological instruments.
