Ms Jo Mignone

Jo Mignone is an awarded academic, artist and illustrator in the Bachelor of Design (Illustration and Animation) at Adelaide University. Jo's main teaching focus is coordinating and teaching Illustration and Drawing. She is a research degree supervisor in the Master's degree program as well as a program director, designer and course coordinator in the Bachelor of Digital Media for Adelaide University Online. She has been awarded an international fellowship in recognition of her teaching practice, as well as grants and awards for her teaching of drawing and illustration. Jo regularly exhibits her creative work and her research examines creative artefact generation and pedagogy, publishing creative artefacts and in peer reviewed journal articles and book chapters.

2019 - 2021 International Finalist, Lethbridge 20000 Small Scale Art Award.

2018 International Finalist, Mumedi Mexican Museum of Design  poster exhibition. Her work was selected from over 30,000 participants to be an international finalist, exploring communication values in poster design.
