I have more than 20 years experience in the research, teaching and pharmaceutical industrial consulting in the field of bioprocess design and optimization for biopharmaceutical product process development, both in fundamental and applied research. About 80 publications and 6 patents have been published. My current research main focus on:

1) Virus-like particles protein and modified protein as drug /vaccine carriers for cancer and disease treatment;
2) Biodegradable material development for gene/drug delivery
3) High through-put and scalable bioprocess development, integration and optimization;
4) Biomedical devices/biomaterials development for burn healing
5) Bioactive components screening and process development from traditional Chinese Medicines and formulation
