Jie Liu is a postdoc at SAiGENCI specializing in Artificial Intelligence for Computational Biology . From 2019 to 2024, He has been pursuing a PhD at Northwestern Polytechnical University in China with two-year visiting scholar in The University of Queensland, focusing on Artificial Intelligence and Data Mining. He has developed several effective general Graph Neural Network (GNN) models capable of performing well across diverse domain data. These works have been published in prestigious conferences and journals, including AAAI, IJCAI, ICDE, and Neural Networks. His future aspirations involve advancing his research in AI for computational biology, with a particular focus on PROTAC prediction, bio-graph foundation models, and E(3) Equivalent GNNs. Outside of academic life, Jie enjoys working out, surf-skating, and PS5.

I am passionate about exploring, creating, and implementing advanced machine learning and deep learning models to tackle a variety of challenging problems in bioinformatics. My primary interest lies in modeling biological structures (such as proteins and ligands) as graph structures and developing representation learning techniques for downstream analysis tasks. I have published over five papers in prestigious artificial intelligence conferences and journals, including AAAI, IJCAI, ICDE, and Neural Networks. Currently, my focus is on creating geometric graph learning frameworks to predict PROTAC-induced protein degradability.
