My research interest focuses on the socioeconomic drivers of food security, diet quality, and related health outcomes. Part of my research work includes the determinants of dietary diversity, diet quality and food security in transition economies such as Vietnam and Bangladesh. I am also interested in investigating how consumers' food shopping behavior and dietary practices affect their diet quality and health outcomes (such as malnutrition and underweight, nutrient deficiencies and overweight and under weight) . Apart from food and health-related studies, I have a keen interest in research project management related to agriculture and applied economics. Recently, I have worked as a team member of an ACIAR project on Vietnam. I am proficient in data cleaning and analysis, econometric modelling and other statistical tools and techniques. I am an advance user of STATA 15.
