Dr Jennifer Stables
Postdoctoral Researcher
School of Biomedicine
Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences
Dr Jennifer Stables is a graduate from the University of Queensland (BSc Hons 2016, PhD 2023) who moved to the Robertson Research Institute (University of Adelaide) to assist in closing the knowledge gaps in women's health. Specifically, she in interested in the role of macrophages in female reproductive health and disease. She is currently working on an NHMRC-funded project to understand why the ovary shows signs of ageing long before other organs, and how we can prevent this. This project is aims to optimise healthy fertility and reduce the incidence of infertility associated with age.
