Jenelle Dziano is a PhD candidate and accredited Exercise Physiologist (ESSA) dedicated to improving outcomes for patients with atrial fibrillation (AF). Her research focuses on developing novel non-invasive methods to detect coexistent heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF) in this population, alongside investigating exercise therapy to enhance post-ablation outcomes.Jenelle’s work combines cardiopulmonary exercise testing with advanced imaging techniques to better understand the interplay between AF and HFpEF, aiming to improve diagnostic precision and inform targeted treatments for patients with AF.She works as part of the clinical and research teams at the Centre for Heart Rhythm Disorders to translate findings into clinical practice.

Topic: The effects of exercise-based rehabilitation on atrial fibrillation recurrence following catheter ablation
