Eligible to supervise Masters and PhD (as Co-Supervisor) - email supervisor to discuss availability.

Dr Jacob Dalgleish is a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Adelaide within the Institute for Photonics and Advanced Sensing. Jacob completed his PhD at the University of South Australia in 2023 with work on the synthesis, characterisation, and doping of conducting polymer thin films for IR modulating devices. He now works as an optical materials researcher, with highlights including fluorescence spectroscopy of rare-earth doped glasses for waveguide chip lasers operating in the infrared, diamond-doped glasses and fibre splicing for magnetometry purposes, and nanoparticle-composite coatings for solar cell increased efficiency and camouflaging capabilities.
