Harry Rowton
Higher Degree by Research Candidate
School of Mechanical Engineering
Faculty of Sciences, Engineering and Technology
Harry is a PhD student in Mechanical (Aerospace) Engineering specializing in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) of airbreathing hybrid vehicles as propulsion candidates for responsive access to space. His project investigates the mixing and performance characteristics of transverse injection and vortex swirl in airbreathing hybrid engines for hypersonic inlet conditions.
Harry is interested in all things space and technology, but extends his interests into all applications of fluid mechanics, with a special interest in sustainable energy solutions such as wind and wave power.
