These projects aimed to find out market solutions for agricultural products; improve the livelihoods of small-scale farmers; and enhance gender equality in the agricultural sector of the Northwest region of Vietnam.

Hang's research interests focus on mechanisms that promote sustainable agricultural practices and the broader field of sustainable agriculture. In particular, She is keen to explore two key areas: supporting small-scale farmers and advancing gender equality in agriculture. The adoption of sustainable agricultural practices is crucial for addressing the growing challenges posed by population growth, increasing food demand, and environmental sustainability. These challenges have significant implications for small farms and women farmers, especially in developing countries, making it essential to develop inclusive and effective solutions that empower these groups and enhance their resilience in the agricultural sector.
