Dr Habiba Jahan is a general practitioner and academic registrar of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She is currently working on a quantitative study at University of Adelaide under Prof Nigel Stocks. Her study is based on MedicineInsight Database-“General Practice management of depression after coronary heart disease”.
She is also working on a project that has been selected for RACGP Diabetes grant for 2021-2022 on “The effect of the use of Metformin on patients with pre-diabetes” with the research team at Department of General practice at University of Adelaide.
She have been selected as the chair of the Early career research subcommittee for 2021-2022.
She holds a Diploma in Child Health (University of Sydney) and a Certificate course in Emergency medicine (ACEM).
She enjoys working as a GP at Hindmarsh Bowden Health, South Australia. She has special interest for Women’s and Children’s health, Mental health issues and chronic diseases. She wants to implement evidence-based practice in primary care setting.
