She is now a PHD candidate in the School of Education, Adelaide University. The main focus of her research is the impacts of classroom assessment practices on the development of learner autonomy in the Vietnamese Higher Education context.
Having spent 15 years as a lecturer of English for students at tertiary level, she has experiences in teaching General English, English for Specific Purposes (Information Technology and Business), IELTS and TOEFL.

I am a Phd candicate in the School of Education, Faculty of Arts, Adelaide University. I am doing research on the impacts of classroom assessment practices on the development of language learner autonomy in the Vietnamese Higher Education context.

My research interests are assessment, autonomy, TESOL and education policies.

I received a PHD scholarship from Vietnam Ministry of Education and Training in 2014

I have almost 15 years experience of teaching English in Higher Education in Vietnam.

From 2001 to 2011: I worked as a full-time lecturer of English at Hanoi University of Industry in Hanoi, Vietnam. My main tasks were giving lectures of 4 language skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking) for students in Vietnam-Australia Cooperation program and students of English major, helping students in Cooperation program in their preparation for IELTS tests, designing IELTS tests for students, marking students' tests and exams, giving lectures on ESP (IT and Business), taking part in syllabus design for the Department, developing and updating teaching materials, and assisting Australian experts and lecturers.

From 2011 to 2015: I worked as a full-time lecturer at Thuyloi Univeristy in Hanoi, Vietnam. My main tasks were preparing and delivering lectures in English (GE, TOEFL, ESP) for students in different programs at the University (Undergraduate, Master, In-service and Advanced). developing course outline and learning resources for students, designing tests and preparing examinations for different programs at the University, marking tests, assignments and examinations. developing and updating teaching materials, proposing innovations in textbooks to improve teaching quality.

From 2007 to 2008:I worked as a part-time lecturer at Thanh Do Univesity in Hanoi, Vietnam where I taught  IELTS for students of English major.

From 2009 to 2011: I worked as a part-time lecturer at Hoa Binh University in Hanoi, Vietnam where I taught general English for students of Financial and Banking Department.

From 2009 to 2013: I worked as a part-time Lecturer at Hanoi APTECH where I taught students English for Information Technology. I was also  in  charge of designing the syllabi for English for Professional in Information Technology at Hanoi APTECH and marking students' assignments and tests.

From 2012 t0 2013: I worked as a part-time lecturer at Hanoi University of Business and Technology where I taught students English for Business.
