I am an established leader in the field of Solid-State Systems who has developed several novel concept devices, including the smallest existing DC SQUID design and the first implementation of a Single Atom-based Single Electron Source (funded under a prestigious ARC DECRA fellowship). By studying highly complex quantum phenomena in these nanodevices, I have developed unique skills in the physics of Ultra-Small CMOS devices, Applied Superconductivity, Ultra-Low Noise and Ultra-Low-Temperature Techniques, and Precision Measurements. I have consistently produced high-quality research, contributed significantly to teaching, and actively served the scientific and general communities. I have, furthermore, been recognised internationally with oral presentations at international and national conferences and workshops of reputable national and foreign institutions. In 2025, I led the 'Jesper Munch Quantum Laboratories Team’ to the final for the Australian Museum Eureka Prize for Outstanding Science in Safeguarding Australia. I was also a recipient of a 2013 UNSW Goldstar award. And the lead entrepreneur of a successful 2025 AEA Innovate grant. I have secured over $15 million to drive my research program and established two new fundamental Quantum facilities at the University of Adelaide. I have published many manuscripts in some of the top journals of my field.
