I have constantly developed high-quality research, contributed significantly to teaching activities, and actively serviced the scientific and general communities. Since the DECRA award, I have independently established research in Silicon-based Quantum Metrology. In addition, since the 2013 UNSW GOLDSTAR award and the subsequent hiring of a post-doctoral fellow, I have extended this effort and opened-up new lines of research focusing on novel hybrid Superconductor-Semiconductor Single-Atom Transistor devices and on two-dimensional transistors. I have been recognized internationally with oral presentations at international and national conferences and workshops of reputable national and foreign institutions. I have established unique skills in the physics of ultra-small CMOS devices, Applied Superconductivity, in Ultra-Low Noise and Ultra Low-Temperature Techniques and in Precision Measurements.
