Georgia Wastell is a current PhD candidate (Marketing) at the University of Adelaide, and takes classes for the Business School's undergraduate marketing tutorials.In 2020, she graduated with a Bachelor of Media degree with a major in Marketing, and in 2021 she completed her Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree with first-class honours. Her thesis 'Cancelled Influencers: Investigating Impacts on the Endorsed Brands' researched the phenomenon of cancel culture within marketing, and her other research areas of interest include influencer marketing, brand scandals, consumer engagement, and consumer-brand relationships. She has been a tutor for Building & Managing Brands, Marketing Strategy, and Intro to Marketing. She has also been a guest lecturer for Contemporary Issues in Marketing and Consumer Behaviour.
