Georges has extensive experience in graduate management education in Australia, Europe, and Southeast Asia. He has delivered executive education programs and worked as a consultant for a wide variety of clients worldwide including: Melbourne Business School (Mt Eliza), ENPC (Paris and Casablanca), Hyatt International Hotels, Mandarin Oriental International Hotels, the Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School, the South Australian Police Force, the Australian United Fire Union, Australia Post, the Pernod Ricard Group, Orlando Wyndham, David Medlow Chocolates Inc, Mimosa Clinic, Mirabelle Pty Ltd, Sanofi-Synthelabo Inc, Filopur Pty Ltd, Temasek Holding, Eventi International, the Riverland Wine Industry Development Council Inc., the Asia Pacific Management Centre and Institute in Singapore and Hong Kong, as well as the Hopkins Training and Education Group in Hong Kong. .
In 2009 Georges was awarded a national citation by the Australian Learning and Teaching Council “for sustained commitment to excellence in the delivery of MBA courses to transnational postgraduate students, resulting in students’ growth as confident, critical thinkers and decision makers”. In 2009, Georges was also awarded the prestigious Stephen Cole the Elder prize for teaching excellence at The University of Adelaide. In 2010, Georges was awarded the Fred McDougall prize for post graduate teaching excellence, and in 2010-11 he was a nominee for an ALTC Australian National Teaching Award, and was ranked in the top 10 Lecturer of the Year in the UniJob.com category. In 2013, he directed a successful tender for an Encounter: Australia Europe joint cooperation project on creating sustainable competitive advantages in international business for EU-Australasia C21st (SCRIBE 21).
Georges has a wide range of business experience, with skills in managing, consulting, teaching and research. He has travelled extensively and worked in the U.K., France, Canada, Finland, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Malaysia. His main area of management and research interests lies with the service sector.
