I am a PhD candidate undertaking research in autonomic dysfunction and specifically Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS). My PhD focuses on the prevalence of POTS in those presenting to emergency with orthostatic symptoms that are unexplained by other factors. Other work includes autonomic dysfunction in people with persistent post-concussion syndrome, and the impact of multidisciplinary care in treating those with POTS.
