Tharindie Silva is a PhD candidate at the University of Adelaide, working in the Gut Cancer Group led by A/Prof. Susan Woods. Tharindie’s research focuses on using patient-derived tumour organoid drug sensitivity assays to inform personalised treatment strategies for patients with advanced gastric cancer. The goal is to guide therapy choices, reduce unnecessary side effects, and identify new treatment options for patients who have exhausted standard care.
