Miss Pakuwal completed her B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Microbiology from Tribhuvan University, Nepal. She completed her M.Sc. Cell and Molecular Genetics from Kent State University, Ohio, USA in 2023. She is a PhD Candidate in Medicine within the Microbiome Research Group. Her research focuses on exploring the intricacies of the gut-liver relationship. Currently, her primary focus is on exploring the changes in the gut microbiome of Severe Alcoholic Hepatitis patients after receiving fecal microbiome Transplantation (FMT). Her research expertise and interests include molecular microbiology, microbiome analysis, advanced bioinformatics, and computational methods in omics research.
