Eva Moore is a PhD candidate and neuroscience researcher whose work focuses on understanding how the nervous system functions, adapts and can be modulated to improve health outcomes. Her research spans neurophysiology, neuroplasticity, motor control, ageing, pain, neurological disease and non-invasive brain stimulation.
 
Eva leads the TMaC Study, a clinical trial investigating whether repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation can reduce persistent chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathic pain in bowel cancer survivors, with the broader goal of translating neuroscience into meaningful improvements in patient quality of life.
 
Eva has been recognised for both academic excellence and research communication, receiving the Dux of the Bachelor of Health and Medical Sciences Program, High Academic Achievement in the Neuroscience Major, the College of Health Three Minute Thesis Winner, and the People’s Choice Award at the Adelaide University Three Minute Thesis Grand Final for her presentation, “Turning Down Hand and Foot Pain Through the Brain”.
