Dr Erin Pichler
Associate Lecturer
School of Biological Sciences
Faculty of Sciences, Engineering and Technology
My work focuses on improving the social, ecological, and economic outcomes of coastal and marine restoration. I collaborate with government agencies, community groups, and coastal stakeholders to understand how restoration design, community participation, and species interactions influence the health and resilience of coastal ecosystems and the communities that depend on them.
I’m particularly interested in applied, multidisciplinary approaches that support restoration efforts which are scalable, inclusive, and climate-resilient.
