Erandi graduated from the University of South Australia (UniSA) and Australian National University (ANU) with a Bachelor of Medical Science co-badged degree in 2013. She was a recipient of the School Leaver’s scholarship for the duration of her undergraduate degree. Erandi has been successful in obtaining two summer research scholarships at UniSA and ANU to expand her research skills. She completed her Honours degree at ANU in 2014, and was awarded a First Class Honours for her thesis entitled “Determination of early predictors of adverse pregnancy outcomes in obese women using miRNA biomarkers”.
Erandi started her PhD within the FOODplus Research Centre and Healthy Mothers, Babies and Childrens theme at SAHMRI in 2015 and was awarded an Australian Postgraduate Award Scholarship to support her during her PhD. She is due to complete her PhD in February 2018.
