Brandon is a molecular biologist/virologist and researcher in the Gene Editing Technology and Therapeutics Laboratory at the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI). He has six years of research experience across a variety of research projects, such as elucidating the key molecular determinants essential for Dengue virus protein secretion, identifying host factors associated with Dengue virus NS1 N-glycosylation and recently identifying potential Dengue vaccine candidates. His current research at SAHMRI involves developing gene-editing therapies for Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
