My research centres around the biological underpinnings of psychiatric illness, especially Major Depressive Disorder. Specifically, I am particularly interested in the relationship between MDD and neuroinflammation in the brain, and the potential of anti-inflammatory treatment to ameliorate psychiatric symptoms.
