Emma Dorward is a PhD candidate in the Vascular Biology and Cell Trafficking Laboratory in the Centre for Cancer Biology, Adelaide University. Under the guidance of Prof. Claudine Bonder, her PhD project investigates the underlying cellular processes that contribute to the initiation and development of pancreatic cancer. Additionally, she investigates the role of intracellular trafficking proteins in tumour progression. Her work aims to help inform prevention, early detection and treatment opportunities for a disease predicted to become the second leading cause of cancer-related death by 2030.
